'Good area, nice breakfast but the pool lacks soul. Where are the people? Where is the staff? Why don't you make this a hip and happening area? There is a bar but there is no bartender and there are very few people... not in the good way. '

'Nice hotel. Over the winter though, you can not ventilate the room other than opening the window. Since the street is very trafficked amd busy, this can make for a noisy environment to sleep or a stuffy one (if you sleep with no ventilation). The lifts would benefit from an upgrade also. Other than that, comfy beds and cute and spacious rooms.'

'When my girlfriend and I visited from New York, Hostal Casa Chueca was the perfect place to stay to experience Madrid. The location had the energy of the heart of the city all around. Mario was the most attentive host, never failing to make his and his staff's services available to us and being flexible to our needs.
