'We booked this stay based on the price, pet-friendly policy, and positive reviews/photos. Unfortunately, our experience did not match expectations.The property is about 15 minutes from Mobile, which was fine, but arriving in the evening was difficult—there is little to no outdoor lighting, making the walk from the parking area unsafe and unwelcoming.Our first unit had a dead, smashed frog and dirt on the floor. Calls went to voicemail, though the host did respond to my VRBO message and moved us...

'My only suggestion would be to add additional lighting to the area we enter the rooms from. It is so dark until the motion detector detects motion. '

'This was our first time using VRBO. Our room was changed three times. Our original unit was doubled booked the second unit they gave us was not cleaned and the third unit the toilet was plugged. finally we were given another unit which was dirty and no amenities as described in listing. There was one roll of toilet paper, no paper towel one coffee cup, and no creamers, no hair dryer, no Xtra towels. We had to wash our own towels and the dryers did not work that well. 'I utilized the space during a business trip. The neighborhood is very nice, active, yet quiet and quaint. The area of the studio apartment is enriched with nature, so you can expect to see a few flying bugs, but for the location such a sight is to be expected. I’d say my only challenge was locking and unlocking the door, the lock is quite difficult to maneuver. And with the key ring being so thin, it caused a moment of panic because the key fell off of the ring; so maybe a thicker metal ring....

'Very quiet. Like home away from home. With the exception of the Wi-Fi on the Roku going in and out in the bedroom and the alarm system constantly beeping, the stay exceeded my expectations. On my next visit to the area, I believe the Hilton in Pascagoula has lost a customer. LOL '
