'Beginning in the early 1970s through the early 2000s, my daughter and I used to vacation at a family-owned cabin on Castle Rock Lake (long since sold off) . We have reminisced often about this area of Wisconsin and on an impromptu basis, just a few days before making a reservation, we decided to rent a cabin for a few days so that could revisit some of our favorite hiking and "hang out" spots. The Full Moon Cabin was perfectly situated for our visit.'

'This place is Great, very friendly, lots of activities for all ages and super close to everything. They provided everything you would need and more in regards to cooking & sleeping. 'Overall, the property was very nice, and was the perfect size to accommodate all of us that were staying. I loved the location as it was back in the woods, quite, semi-private, and offered plenty of land to enjoy a bonfire, and recreational activities with my friends and family. The booking and check-in process was very easy and the host was extremely responsive to emails/questions. 'The location of the property was very quaint and peaceful. The interior of the property wasn't as cozy as we expected given the pictures and advertisement. It paralleled staying in a hotel: a very loud heating unit, no extra blankets or sheets, sparsely equipped kitchen. The cleanliness of the unit upon arrival was questionable. Overall, a bit disappointing.'
