Spacious rooms with kitchen made it super convenient and comfortable. Aircon/Heating unit in every room was super required due to the cold weather. My wife and I loved it and for sure will be back again 100% recommend!'

'Fatastic hotel and our room and ensuite was lovely, my only issue was the mattress was rather noisy. Breakfast was lovely but please try either Linda McCartney or Cauldren veggie sausages as even meat eaters love them. If we're ever in the area again we'll definately stay at The Blue Boar. The staff were lovely too.'

'We had room 9 which had an upstairs with twin beds as well as the double room down stairs. Plenty of space for just my friend and I. Beds very comfy, and we loved having our own outside space at the back.
We couldn't put our finger on what the slight odour was in the room, but it didn't spoil our stay, so we didn't report it.
The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous! as was our meal the night before.
This place is very good value for money, and I would stay here again. '
