'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'

'Ac worked well, but the smell of the room was awful. Even though a non smoking room was selected the room wreaked of cigarettes. The tv and internet didnt work well enough to stream any shows. No microwave in the room as mentioned. On the final night i am certain i saw a roach in the bathroom. So be aware of that issue as a possibility. '

'The lady at the front desk gets 5 stars! The hotel was apparently oversold and she had no rooms that had not already been paid for. But when she saw that my reservation was also prepaid, she found me a good room and said, "I will have to deal with this later." 'We had to change rooms 3 times!!! The first room we were given a key to was Occupied!! The second room, the fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet running!!! The 3rd room ..the refrigerator didnt work..it was Horrible!'

'I had to ask 3 times for the pull out beds sheet to be changed in which it was never done. We did get moved to another room how we both toilets did not want to flush. When I let Front desk know she stated it was could be because if it’s about to rain there’s sometimes plumbing issues. Toilet of course would not flush the next morning after using it and maintenance had to come up with a snake to snake it. Spoiled milk was served at breakfast'

'THIS Place is a joke. Not clean could not give us any extra towels they said they were all] out!!! really that's not good customer service. Refrigerator was so nasty. The shower wasn't clean. The rooms are OLD. I will never stay at another Motel 6. Check rooms before you stay!!!'

'Parking was fine they said they had hot tub or jets in the tub there were none the hotel needs serious repair needs. The sheets on the bed appeared to have not been changed, the shower head barely trickled water, the wallpaper was peeling of the walls at there seams, it was just not at all what the photos shown and was the worst I had ever seen.'

'General ok place to stay. However small rooms, can be noisy if other guest stay out long. And gap between door and floor is big. So expect crawling friends.'

'We checked in late, as a one night sleep, during our traveling south vacation. The room had everything that was advertised but wasn't as new or clean as the pictures convey. Our one queen bed was so worn out that my wife slept in a hole and I did a balancing sleep on the edge of bed trying to not fall in the hole on top of her. 'Overall clean, spacious rooms. Mattresses are very soft but bed was comfortable. Room was nicely quiet.'

'Het positive aan dit hotel is dat het aan de overkant van de straat ligt van pretpark Kings Dominion. Verder was het een wat kleine kamer. De kamer was vies en er hing een vreemde geur in het hotel. Met vies bedoel ik dat de oude contactlenzen van de vorige gast nog op de vloer lagen. Ook vonden we oude bier dopjes en zaten er vlekken op de vloer. Daarnaast waren de kamers erg gehorig en konden zowel de mensen naast ons als boven ons horen. '
