'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'

'Everything worked great in room. Place is a little dated but very clean and clean smelling. They are current in the process of updating and modernizing the rooms. Very friendly staff that will even follow up with you and makesure your stay was pleasant. '

'Het positive aan dit hotel is dat het aan de overkant van de straat ligt van pretpark Kings Dominion. Verder was het een wat kleine kamer. De kamer was vies en er hing een vreemde geur in het hotel. Met vies bedoel ik dat de oude contactlenzen van de vorige gast nog op de vloer lagen. Ook vonden we oude bier dopjes en zaten er vlekken op de vloer. Daarnaast waren de kamers erg gehorig en konden zowel de mensen naast ons als boven ons horen. '

'Place is great, except every single time i stay here it sounds like a bunch of kids running and jumping above me when i stay on the 3rd floor. Even after midnight its just constant running and banging. Im typing this right now as its happening and ive been coming here for two or three years off and on.'

'General ok place to stay. However small rooms, can be noisy if other guest stay out long. And gap between door and floor is big. So expect crawling friends.'

'The room was perfect! We arrived in town for a volleyball tournament and Shaun was so accommodating to all of our requests. We were able to check in a little early which helped us relax and get settled before our tournament. Our bathroom light was flickering, we called down to have it looked at and when we arrived back to the room that evening, everything was in working order. We will definitely stay again should we be in the area '
