'Great service'

'Great place to stay after a long day at Kings Dominion! Place was nice, clean, quiet! Front desk staff and housekeepers were all very nice and friendly! Breakfast was great and the lady stocking the breakfast was very nice and helpful! Will 100% stay again! Such a nice property tucked off the main road!'

'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'

'Room was old and not clean. The bathroom bath towel looks not clean saw some black spots on it.'

'This is my go to hotel when I’m in Richmond. The location is outside the city but close to 95 making travel easier. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the rooms are quiet and clean.'

'Place was dirty. It had an odor. The bedding was dirty looking. The bed also looked like someone tried to make it up then laid on top of the comforter. Chair leg was broken.'

'They let us have our goldendoodle, they were quick to accompany us when we asked for a ground floor room. Very nice safe area to walk our dog at night.'

'The hotel was very dirty and was not kept well on the outside. There was garbage everywhere. There was bugs. The bolt on the door didn’t work. The toilet ran very loud all night.'

'They are pretty much the only place in the area was an outdoor swimming pool for less than $100 a night. That being said, we overlooked the rude staff, and the fact that the rooms were only half-heartedly cleaned, and the criminal casing of rooms that the personnel were obviously a part of.... But a total infestation of cockroaches was the last straw. Pool or not, we will never stay there again!'

'A handful of problems with the visit: -- TV antenna was broken and TV didn't work -- shower water faucet fell off during use -- one bed lamp had no bulb -- cups at coffee bar had no lids; manager reported they were out -- a sticky spill was on the floor next to the refrigerator -- there was no sign at the hotel nor any guidance on getting to the lobby behind another property Generally, a dissatisfying time.'

'Be sure to lower your standards. Room looked like a crime scene. I don't even want to know how many people overdosed in that bed. Dirty, in disrepair, COCKROACHES IN THE MICROWAVE! We didn't even stay. Checked out within 20 minutes and got another room elsewhere and immediately took a shower. Just skip this place'

'It’s poorly maintained. The photos are not exactly what you get (we missed a table). Cleaning supplies smell is everywhere. The sheet had strains. Breakfast was said to be just a muffin, coffee and juice before 9am (I decided to skip). Really find a better place'

'We only stayed one night breakfast was disappointing. Guests were filling thermos up with juice. Trash overflowing. Fruit had turned colors. Not very nice. For a Marriott property broken room windows and bathroom sink was very cracked. Television was a challenge'

'Had a great time with the pinball machines and game systems! Kids loved them too! And it was a great location right by the highway, but in a quiet neighborhood.'

'The room was extremely clean and we appreciated the attention to detail and care the head of housekeeping put into her job. You can tell she prides herself in providing great customer service. The front desk was also very helpful.'

'the room was clean, but the tv wouldn't even turn on. No internet, no remote, they never have proper batteries in it. I would like to book the same room on my next visit, but I won't becasue I like to watch tv so I might not book there.'
