'Renovations were going on, but seemed to be as clean as possible. Liked the location with shopping, esting, etc.'

'Our stay would have been better if not for the constant noise of hot-rods running up and down the highway well into the night. I guess our timing was bad since this happens annually in early May. There was also a very loud tenant above us that revelled in stomping until 11 at night. The restaurant was great for dinner with excellent food and drinks. Breakfast was over-priced and un-noteworthy. The beach, pool and hot-tub were all nice and private.'

'My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at The Tranquil House Inn in Manteo while we explored the Outer Banks. The rooms and service were great, and the location right on the water in downtown Manteo was perfect. Manteo has a charming downtown that offers plenty of shops and attractions without feeling too touristy. We also really enjoyed the light breakfast offerings each morning and the staff were so friendly and helpful.'

'Front desk staff, Janet and Dianne were very nice and helpful, although at the time of check in our room was not ready, Janet made every effort to accommodate us!! Clean and quiet room, easy parking. we definitely recommend this location. '
