'We stayed one night at the Tempus. The decor was beautiful, the bed comfortable, the food was very good, and the staff were friendly. The problem with the place is style over substance. While beautifully decorated and large, the lighting in the room was a nightmare. There simply wasn't enough nor was it in the right places. The wet room was even worse. The mirrors were not placed properly, there wasn't enough light to see yourself properly and if one were to take a shower the entire room...

'Friendly and helpful owner. Our room was clean and nicely laid out. Great shower with good selection of toiletries. Great selection for breakfast. Ideal location in Eyemouth and wish we had planned more time to explore.'

'Staff and food were very good but stay was let down by a few niggles. I had booked a table for dinner but there was no record of it when I arrived. I had also asked for a room with a walk in shower but didn't get it. The biscuits on the tea tray were the smallest pieces of shortbread I have seen made worse by having no biscuits at all on my second night. The tea bags had not been replenished and why leave 3 cartons of long life milk for 2 people? I have stayed in many hotels with my dog and this...

'Travelled with 2 puppies was worried about how things would be. Didn’t need to be worried as dog friendly rooms available & staff very accommodating. Meals served all day & a good variety to choose from. Have booked for close family to stay later in the year.'

'Prima hotel, op doorreis of als uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes in de omgeving. Kamer, badkamer en bedden waren goed. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid, met vers fruit (aardbeiden, frambozen, blauwe bessen), yoghurt en ruime keuze in Engelse ontbijt-varianten met ei, bacon etc. Ook het avondeten was er prima. Vlak naast het hotel zijn er Tesla oplaadpunten, die ook door niet-Tesla's gebruikt kunnen worden, en die met hoge snelheid kunnen laden. Handig!'
