'There were two couples in our late 60’s early 70’s. This lovely clean and superbly equipped cottage was brilliant for us.We had a very slight problem logging onto the WiFi because the details given to us were completely wrong. Used the details on the Router and we were sorted.Really lovely week cannot recommend the cottage enough.'

'The Counting House was perfect for our week in Northumberland. It was very comfortable and clean and we felt very at home there. '

'Het was heel fijn, er lagen verschillende lekkere dingen klaar als welkomstpakket, leuke inrichting, schoon, het ontbrak ons aan niets. Het huis lag op paar honderd meter van de kliffenkust waarlangs je naar dorp en haven kon lopen, schone zeelucht, veel moois te zien in de buurt, niet dichtbevolkt, de Engelsen zijn vriendelijk en meestal in voor een praatje. Zo ook Ray en Val, de buren die het huis beheren. Kortom: we kunnen het iedereen aanbevelen!'

'Pyg Pen is a beautifully presented and a well equipped property, with everything you could possibly need. It’s situated in an ideal location for day trips and exploring the local area. Property has an enclosed back garden which is ideal for dog owners and plenty of parking in front of the house for more than one vehicle. Lots of places to visit in the local area. This was our third stay in Pyg Pen and it did not disappoint. Would highly recommend the property and the area.'

'Absolutely love the property and the location ! Ideal for families of all ages . Great size property and lovely garden . We had everything we needed .We hope to be back again next spring to do some more exploring of the wonderful coastline .we even saw some dolphins from the jolly fisherman beer garden !!Highly recommend this property.10/10'

'Pictures and description is 100%. Communication with the owner is smooth. The cottage is spotless, in the middle of town with café’s (for breakfast and lunch), 1 pub serving food in the evening a couple only 50 meters down the road, a great Italian restaurant in 60 meters and a pub (no food) with a garden 70 meters. The cottage is well laid out. Great walks in the vicinity. For a rainy day there are books from Louise Ross all located in Northumberland. Off road parking is very convenient.'

'The house is a perfect location for a short walk to the beach, it is spacious enough and adequately stocked for a large family.'

'We booked this house for a few days with our family of three couples, two children and an infant. The space was perfect for us, with comfortable bedrooms and a great balance of spaces to relax and socialise. House is surrounded by stunning views and tastefully decorated to a beautiful standard. The kitchen was very well equipped, garden was spacious and well maintained, and the games room in the garage was a great bonus for the kids! We hope to return! '

'We had a wonderful week at the beautiful Birdsong Cottage (the perfect name for this accommodation). As a base for visiting the local area, the cottage was ideally located for accessing the coast and the A1. Furthermore, the addition of the games room was a much appreciated extra for our two teenagers. '

'Comfortable, spacious and very clean property. We often visit this area although usually bearded the coast. The Coach House is a good property for families - quiet location and it has a safe, enclosed garden. Unfortunately the main door from lounge to the garden was broken (sign on door not to open) which was frustrating as the other access was at the other end of the property. The kitchen was very spacious - strange not to have an integrated bin and a bigger fridge. Some more kitchen...

'Lovely spacious property, contemporary style in a period house. Quiet street, walking distance to all amenities.Great location for visiting sites of the area - Bamburgh castle, Farne islands, Lindisfarne. Lovely beach nearby.Parking on street but narrow road so parking a bit difficult.'

"vlakbij treinstation, ideaal wanneer je met het openbaar vervoer reist. hotel heeft een nieuwe eigenaar en alles is opnieuw geverfd en het interieur van het hotel en de slaapkamers is allemaal vernieuwd. ziet er goed uit. het ontbijt "continental"mag uitgebreider zijn o.a met kaas, vleeswaren en een gekookt ei. verder zou ik de menukaart ook uitbreiden met meer europese gerechten. "
