'Great hotel, next to the witch market. Do not expect a 5 star hotel with a lot of luxury but it had everything we needed. Good breakfast - great location and you can book your tours at the reception and change currency at the hotel'

'Residencial Alta Vista is a simple hotel with simple amenities but it is in a brilliant position on the same lane as the witches market. The rooms are quiet at night and totally practical. Everything was very clean and there was a good supply of hot water in the shower. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple but you can sit on the roof top and enjoy the view. 'Receptionist vond booking niet, wou geen mastercard accepteren. Vroeg ook 3/4de van één nacht om een paar uur onze rugzakken te stockeren wat we uiteraard niet gedaan hebben.'

I lost my card earlier and couldn’t withdraw cash so she also helped me set up a payment where I could pay with a link online and receive cash without which my trip would’ve been a disaster. 'This does not pretend to be nor is it a normal hotel. This place is the only game in town when you have a 3:20am departure and you want to make sure you are sleeping at the airport. It did the job for us. It is very Spartan, and they make no claim to be anything else. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We are glad we elected to stay here. At least we got 5 hours sleep before our ridiculously early departure for Bogota.'
