'Bij inchecken ging de telefoon, de baliemedewerker nam op om te vertellen dat hij bezig was. Hij zei eerst gasten te helpen asn de balie want daar had hij mee te maken. Ontbijt was zeer goed voor Amerikaanse begrippen. Kamer netjes maar hier en daar beetje grauw. Ik zou wel zo weer daar overnachten. Mooi uitgangspunt voor whalewatching in Monterey. '

'This place was amazing for the price. Breakfast, which came with the cost of the room, was delivered to our door each morning. The room and bathroom were very large, and there was a balcony with great views. I'm a pillow snob and was elated when I saw a placard on the desk with a "pillow menu." Located next to Cannery Row it was convenient for shopping and dining. I would definately stay again and recommend.'
