'The hotel was phenomenal! We were greeting so warmly on arrival and given great dining and neighborhood tips by Ben- who was wonderful. The rooms were beautiful and all aspects of the hotel and dining/ bar spaces were gorgeous and full of character. We enjoyed The Portrait Bar a couple of times and had such fun. We also had breakfast in the restaurant and a spectacular dinner at Cafe Carmellini. I wish I could remember our server’s name because she was top notch.

'The location one of the best parts of this hotel. You are steps away from luxury shops and restaurants. You have access to Zero Bond and a speak easy bar (located in the basement). The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the space was pretty good. '

The older rooms are a bit outdated but still very clean! The renovated rooms are absolutely perfect and the suites are HUGE!

'The hotel is inside part of the old Met Life building on Madison Avenue which makes it a little difficult to find for the taxi drivers. Once actually in the hotel the staffing level is good and staff are attentive and helpful. The rooms are of a good size for NY and as this is a new hotel they are in very good condition.

Een mini verbeterpunt: de airco was direct naast een van de queensize bedden geplaatst, waardoor je echt werd weggeblazen gedurende de nacht. Met heet weer is het uitzetten van de airco geen optie. (Deels opgelost door een muur van kussens)'

The employees at the reception are not very friendly, they don't even say good morning when you walk by.
