'Having the restaurant downstairs is terrific. The rooms are a little dark. Rooms are huge. Bathtub situation is over the top- huge soaking tubs. Bed is super comfortable. Loved my stay. Arrived with a 911 technology emergency and the staff handled everything. Great location for high line and galleries on 23rd. '

'The hotel was phenomenal! We were greeting so warmly on arrival and given great dining and neighborhood tips by Ben- who was wonderful. The rooms were beautiful and all aspects of the hotel and dining/ bar spaces were gorgeous and full of character. We enjoyed The Portrait Bar a couple of times and had such fun. We also had breakfast in the restaurant and a spectacular dinner at Cafe Carmellini. I wish I could remember our server’s name because she was top notch.

The neighbourhood is dirty and not very attractive though close enough to the more popular areas in downtown. 'The hotel is inside part of the old Met Life building on Madison Avenue which makes it a little difficult to find for the taxi drivers. Once actually in the hotel the staffing level is good and staff are attentive and helpful. The rooms are of a good size for NY and as this is a new hotel they are in very good condition.

"Hele fijne locatie. Het was mij niet bekend dat er geen restaurant/ontbijtlokaal was. Het ontbijt was wel goed opgelost , je kon naar de overkant van de straat 2 consumpties naar keuze afhalen.

The employees at the reception are not very friendly, they don't even say good morning when you walk by.
