We were unable to regulate the temperature in the kitchen/living room area, even though we set the thermostat to 80. The temperature never warmed up and it felt quite chilly but we managed. 'There was great communication from the host. The amenities worked well for us during our stay. Being on the Main Street, it was loud. We did wear earplugs to drown out the noise when sleeping. The sulphur smell from the water was, at times, overwhelming. The water may not have been run for some time, because the smell wasn't as bad after 2 days. It's an adorable home with good juju that is only a few minutes walk to the heart of Phoenicia, including the lovely Esopus Creek, of which we provided a photo. We greatly appreciated the comfortable bed, as well as the sauna in the wellness room, and communication with the host was always clear and quick.
