'This a charming and beautiful old building. The individual rooms and common spaces are inviting, and sitting on the lanai with a view of Honolulu is wonderful! The owners provide a simple but filling breakfast and a coffee station and fridge near the sleeping quarters. All staff were welcoming and receptive to questions. If you’re looking for accommodation away from the Waikiki area, or near UH, this is a great choice. We would definitely stay here again! '

There's a variety of food/drink options here. The food itself is good, one spicy dish anywhere on any menu would be incredible (but that's just personal taste). We tried a variety of different drinks with mixed results, but overall really enjoyed it all. Also, visit the hotels bakery... SO GOOD.

'This was our first time in Waikiki and we were very happy with the hotel! It's a bit old and outdated, but we got everything we needed: comfortable bed, clean sheets, WiFi, mini fridge, microwave and valet parking. What I loved the most was the staff! JR was delightful and the reception was amazing! Also the location is perfect! Close to the freeway and a 10 min walk to Waikiki beach. Will definitely come back next time! :) '
'We stayed here last year while it was being renovated so coming this year, the hotel had a major make over. My family and I loved it. Perfect location for our liking, rooms were tidy and we enjoyed going to the gym every morning. Pool was beautiful and not full of chlorine like some hotels. Overall, we love this place! 'The best part of this property was the staff and the comfort of the bed. I am very picky about what I sleep on and this bed was a ten! Staff could not have been more accomodating or helpful. Dom at the front desk made me feel right at home and he was very attentive. He always remembered me by name. This is by far one of the best hotels I have been in. The only down side was the coffee bar. Very slow and even if you called ahead, you waited in line like you never ordered ahead. '

We stayed for 7 nights, and everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was perfect—luxuriously appointed with every amenity you could possibly need for a dream trip. The view was breathtaking, overlooking Waikiki and the iconic big banyan tree. A special treat was being able to watch the hula show from our balcony, as the hotel is right across from the Hula Mound stage.

"Goede ligging en vriendelijk personeel. Iedere dag vrijwel hetzelfde ontbijt. Parkeren is prima, maar wel duur. Hotelkamers zien er gedateerd uit en iedere dag veel lawaai gedurende de hele nacht (ook op de hoger gelegen verdiepingen). Het personeel is weinig flexibel (doen geen late check-out, opslag van bagage voor paar uurtjes; overal wordt een toeslag voor gevraagd)."
