'We came for the weekend with our 2.5 year old to see Thomas the Train at Tweetsie. The stay was great!! It was a super quick drive to Tweetsie, and everything else we did was just a quick walk. We were able to walk to the playground nearby, as well as breakfast and dinner. The accommodations were extremely clean and comfortable. Check in was easy. I would stay again!'

Pleasant MCM motel

"One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
