'Good location if you’re wanting to stay downtown and not break the bank. There are limited food options nearby but we loved the pizza they served at the hotel. There are great restaurants at the Georgetown riverfront which is still within walking distance. The hotel had very good breakfast sandwiches. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we return to DC. '

'Johnnie the front desk manager is absolute amazing. He was accommodating for the entire trip. This is one of DCs best kept secrets. The rooftop bar, the near by bars and restaurants. Amazing. 10/10 '

'The location of the River Inn is excellent. It is in a nice neighborhood, with like a 20-30 mins walk to the DC Mall. There are multiple restaurants and super markets relatively close. The hotel itself also contains an Italian restaurant that was fine, the breakfast is also there. The staff of the hotel is helpful and the rooms are clean and big. The room contains a lot of extra facilities such as cooking facilities. We had a great stay. '

'Beautiful property in a very nice and convenient location. Steps away from M street on one side and the Potomac on the other. Very friendly and efficient staff. Only thing to take into account is that the rooms (at least the standard room we stayed at) are very small and with very little natural light. This was not a problem for us, but it might be for someone that would like, for example, to work in the room.'
