'My friend and I went on a beer, wine and distillery tasting tour from Texas Wine Tours where we were picked up & dropped off at the home in Harper which was only a 25 minute drive from Fredericksburg. We enjoyed the quietness and the Longhorn Cafe was within walking distance from the home. The home was really cozy, we enjoyed all the photos of the family's history and sitting out on the screened porch at night. I would go back because of it's proximity to Fredericksburg and it's not as busy.'

'We absolutely loved the property! It was perfect for baseball families traveling for a tournament and wanting to stay together. The only issue we had was getting ahold of the property manager. We reached out through VRBO and the direct number provided in the house and never heard back. '

'Quaint home, great host, very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for the two of us. We would stay here again. FYI The bathroom is small and getting into the house would be difficult for someone with limited mobility.'

'The house was well suited for our trip - a place to sleep, relax, review our day of birding and have a few nightcaps in the evening after a long day of birding in and around the local parks.The owner was quick to respond to any questions that we had before and during our visit.
