It was resolved and i was able to remain at the hotel i booked. The gym is a nice amenity as well as the onsite starbucks. The restaurant closes a bit early (i travel from the west coast- so the time change makes it difficult to dine before 9p ET)

'Only issue I had was the temperature in the room even when lowered as far as it would go, would not get cold. It was a bit hot in the room, only stayed a night, and didn’t realize until the evening. Wasn’t a deal breaker though, super nice hotel! Would definitely stay again! '

'We had an excellent stay at the Sonesta Hotel in Downtown Columbus. From the moment we arrived, the valet staff made a great impression with their friendly and professional service.
