'The staff at this Ambassador Hotel was very engaging. They warmly greeted us each time we passed through the lobby and were very efficient checking in a large group of people ahead of us. Truly set the tone of the stay. We were glad to get a room with a view and there is true value in a nice bathroom in the room when out of town. A short walk to power and light district and other event centers. This room fulfilled the very things we were looking for on stay for our day trip to Kansas City. '

'I booked 2 rooms. 1 had a musty odor, which im the only one it bothered, and the other smelled fabulous, so i got that one 😁 outside of that everything was perfect. 'Our granddaughter was a trauma patient at Children’s Mercy after a tragic accident This hotel is 4 minutes away. This allowed us to be close to the hospital while still getting some rest. It also allowed our son and daughter in law to go to the hospital for a shower and well needed rest. Front desk staff was very understanding and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing. Hubby said their eggs are the best he’s ever had at a hotel. '

'It was a rough start. The AC in our room wasn't working when we got to the hotel at 9:30 pm. They quickly upgraded us to a different room. I do have to say it was noisy overnight with the traffic and our neighbors slamming door all night. The parking isn't that great either. '
