'Breakfast room was unfinished; food was sparse, chose not to eat there. Property run down. Town itself was nearby and cute. Ate breakfast at Day Break Cafe and dinner at Just for the Halibut. All restaurant staff friendly and fun and the woman at the British Shoppe was very pleasant and helpful. '

'Staff was great, room was good. Our room, the sliding window needs repair as it didn’t lock (but it was a small window) and the table provided was wobbly.'

'We had a wonderful stay, very clean property, friendly staff. I love that our room was clean everyday. I enjoy the pool, sauna and hot tub some of the reasons I chose to stay here. The waterfront view was very pleasant even though it was still cold and raining while we were there. All and all a great time.'

'Great host, Rose cares about her guests you can tell that right away. The room we stayed in was beautiful, the cleanest I think I’ve ever stayed in and it was fully stocked with soaps, coffee & even makeup wipes for my wife. Rose accommodated dietary restrictions for our breakfast no problem. The perfect place to stay for couples visiting Port Hope and looking for something a bit more special than a hotel. Summertime would be even better. '
