'Mango Sunset was the perfect option for my one-night stay after an evening landing in Kona before driving to the Hilo side of the island the next day. The room was immaculate and comfy, the grounds are absolutely beautiful, communication with staff was easy, and coffee and breakfast were excellent. I would love to stay at Mango Sunset again for multiple days!'

'The young lady (I think Mary) at the front desk was very helpful during the day. The gentleman in the evening was also helpful. The staff was very pleasant and our stay was enjoyable. The breakfast was good but would have like some yogurt that was Greek and diabetic friendly. '

'In general the property was quite nice. Rooms are spacious if somewhat run down (they were doing some renovations though so that might be solved soon). It is in a nice location by the ocean and the bar/restaurant was very enjoyable with good staff. The pool is somewhat small but acceptable, the private lagoon somewhat makes up for this though (it is also a great place to try out your snorkel before going into the ocean).

'The property and location were amazing! We had the best time! The buffet was a bit chaotic and the pool staff were incredible but understaffed. The only down side was the house keeping rarely came. We have a baby and so having the room cleaned and garbage taken out would have been helpful. We loved the location and will be back again! '

"We stayed here for the Ironman. Since our son qualified late we were very lucky to find this place. Communication with Sarah was perfect from the beginning. She gave us tips for restaurants, beaches, etc. She even supported our son during the Ironman. We loved the house. Our bed was even long enough for me (I'm about 2 meters tall).
The kitchen has all the things you need. We loved both lanai's.
The neighbourhoud is quiet. And it's just a short drive to the center and the supermarkets.
We would certainly book it again when visiting Hawai'i"
