'I waited so long to visit the spit and Land’s End did not disappoint. It was everything I thought it would be. We enjoyed a beautiful room with an ocean view right on the beach. It was a treat to watch the fishing and charter boats leave in the morning as they pass by the window. Stayed for two nights to go on a Bear Viewing Tour and then of course needed to do some shopping. Everything was provided for our needs and comfort and there was no need to ask for more. Great place to stay!!'

'Cute little cabins with tiny pond. Clean shared toilet and shower. Do be deterred by the name The “Dirty Skillet” restaurant on property was amazing! Cute outdoor restaurant with a wonderful ambience and delicious food.'

'While the outside looks worn the rooms are very nice. The rooms are clean and the beds are also comfortable. For fishermen there is easy access to the Kenai river with cleaning stations if you get lucky.'

'We absolutely loved our stay. The property is immersed in nature, close but far enough from Seward. The cabins are basic but this is really the point. The highlight of our stay was surely the friendliness of Gary (the manager/owner) and even his friends. A true pearl, a true local stay. Kids loved it too! The only place we stayed in Alaska that had its own playground, close to the lake. No small feat!'
