'We unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Shortly after check-in, my daughter was the first to arrive and, while turning on lights throughout the house, saw a large rat run across the room. We immediately contacted the property manager, and someone came out and appeared surprised, referring to it as a “mouse.” We were told it was likely due to rural living and possibly because a door had been left open by housekeeping. 'This home is wonderful! So comfortable and clean, the grounds and landscape are serene and stunning, the town is charming and welcoming. And the complimentary tasting at Croix was fabulous; we loved everything about it! '

'An updated motel. New clean rooms, very comfortable, but ours was 20 feet from the highway. Noisy, lights, etc. They advertise that they have a mineral spring and I don’t doubt that it’s built on top of one, but the pool and hot tub are in disrepair. Behind ugly fencing, the pool and spa have chipping paint, bugs, weird color water. However the sauna room and steam room seemed new and we enjoyed those. Too high-priced a place for what you get. Easy walk into town, less than a half mile.'

'We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the easy access in and out. Room was comfortable, quiet, and had the basic amenities. One suggestion would be a complimentary coffee/tea station for guests. Otherwise a great location and easy walk to shops and restaurants.'
