'The washer and dryer were advertised as free but I had to pay. They are quarter operated devices and quarters were not always available. I was instructed by the host to pay for use near the end of my trip. Located on a main road I became used to the noise after a few nights.'

'Pristine stay in an unbeatable Paia location I had a wonderful stay at Hale Nihi. The property was absolutely pristine, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with all of the amenities advertised. For me, though, the real standout was the location. You can easily walk to Mana Foods for groceries, as well as seemingly endless restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and shopping in the heart of Paia. 'This was excellent. The only thing I would do differently is rent a SUV instead with a high center. We needed a minivan for our passengers and those have very low base , so it was difficult to turn around in the driveway.'

'Check in is seamless with lock codes sent to email and through text before we arrived. The breakfast was delicious each morning and very convenient! We stayed during a tsunami warning and the chef provided a dinner option for everyone since all the restaurants closed in the area. Definitely an added perk to staying in a small historic inn! '
