'The most unforgettable part of staying here is the stunning natural beauty all around you. The mountains and green trees feel like a postcard come to life. A highlight was the Tram, just a 5–10 minute walk from the hotel, that takes you up to the historic Olympic station from the 1960 Winter Olympics. The scenery at the top is breathtaking, and the food there was delicious — definitely worth staying for lunch. The village itself feels like a little slice of Europe. 'The property is older but has been very well maintained. The room was impeccably clean, no smells or odors, everything was nice and not worn or sketchy. The place in incredibly quiet!! We barely heard any indication that there was anyone else staying there. The mattress was firm but comfortable. No complaints about the room. The down side, maybe, was the area surrounding the buildings was....old. Could use a little TLC. The "lake view" is quite limited but there is a lovely park less than 5 min...

'The property is clean and located mere steps from the Palisades Tahoe village and the Tram building (and also close to the bottom of the WaSheShu lift I think). Convenient parking for one vehicle per room in the adjacent garage. Staff was friendly and helpful, though maybe a little slow on checking people in that night. Some parts of the property were undergoing renovation during my stay, so I gave the Property Condition only 4 out of five stars.'
