'Dit zou een 4-sterrenaccomodatie zijn, en volgens de prijs die we betaalden mocht dat ook wel. De accommodatie is gedateerd, badkamer met jaccuzi is oud, geen mengkraan maar een oude hot/coldkraan die moeilijk te regelen viel. Dunne muren, het leek alsof de gasten uit de aangrenzende kamer in onze badkamer stonden te douchen, om van de ruziënde kinderen nog maar te zwijgen. Extra betalen voor de parking, terwijl alle dagbestedingen verplaatsing met de auto vereisen, is niet fijn. £10 per nacht...

'I stayed in the Helm Crag room which has fantastic views of the surrounding hills. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the shower superb. The whole room is immaculate and super clean. I didn’t want to leave! The owner was very welcoming and helpful and easy to contact if you have any queries. I would recommend highly. '

'I had a lovely stay at Hillsdale - Steve and Caz were fantastic hosts who couldn't be more helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was a great way to get the day started. It's located really close to all the local amenities, there's great walks on the doorstep and the bus stop is a couple of minutes walk if you want to go further. '
