'From the moment we arrived we were provided exceptional and personalized service. The grounds are beautiful… perfect for breakfast or cocktails by the fire. Love the old Hollywood decor with beach room uniquely designed around different Hollywood legends. '

'The property is located close to most tourist areas and since it was my first time in LA that was great. The place is nice and the staff is very responsive. The only thing is if you rent a car and would like to park it in the premises, call them as soon as you make a reservation to reserve a parking spot; other wise you have to park about 2 blocks away in another private parking. 'There’s “unique,” and then there’s Gold-Diggers, a five star boutique hotel above a sound studio and small venue night club. Music is the theme! Vinyl turntable in room. vinyl house gift too, along with drink tokens and access to whatever show is happening downstairs. Incredibly helpful staff, but be prepared, the staff is also working the sound studio and everyone goes home at 6pm. After that you’re on your own, more like a high end hip guest house than a hotel.

'The room was good, although some basic things where missing like a refrigerator and coffee. However the biggest bummer besides the expensive parking was the neighborhood it was located in. Everywhere homeless and very shady people. At night my wife didn't dear to go out cause of this. I'm a smoker myself so i went out regulary just to smoke and stand in front of the hotel where in total 4 times strange folks tried to pull something off. I even get asked by some guy where i had my wallet. The...

"Old and in much need of some TLC, but it also has that charm. Crickets and other bugs and all! Just don't get the room next to the breakfast area, the coffee kettles will wake you up at 5 am!
