It was also close to the city and the highway, so it was easy to reach the sights within and outside the city. 'My 16 year old son and I stayed at top floor retreat for four nights. The building is old but the space is modern and spotless. Really cute inside with all of the amenities you could want. There was even cooking spices and oil in case we wanted to cook at night. You do have to walk up a flight of stairs to get there. 'This was the perfect location to book for an event at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Short walk to the university. Close to downtown. Very clean and neatly decorated. My only concern is with the steep steps leading up to the loft. Could be a problem for others. Otherwise, a great stay! '

Meeting room on M level was great for having small meetings outside of the convention. Well situated so I was within 1-2 blocks of all convention dinner meetings.
