'I loved my stay here. The location is perfect. Ambleside is very walkable so everything was close. The room had windows with beautiful views of the town, and I really appreciated there being a full length mirror in there. It was quiet and comfortable. Meg and John take great care of their guests. I was given a parking disc that could be used at a few different car parks in the area. Breakfast was absolutely lovely with a lot of choices. I’m so pleased with my choice to stay here!'

'We were surprised to find out that the parking was not guaranteed and limited, once we had paid on-line. However, we got there early and did secure a space. Excellent location in the heart of Grasmere. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good.'

'Absolute fantastic place to stay, highly recommended with nothing to dislike. Credit to Rich, Ada and the team, felt home from home and part of their family. Knowledgeably about places to visit, eating out, parking. Nothing was a problem and owners on hand regular if anything needed. Definitely will return. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.'
