'We’ve had an excellent stay, very walkable to Old Town San Diego, good restaurants in the direct area. The pool is a bit small though, San Diego zoo and the SS Midway are very close. The staff is very friendly and very nice and helpful, they give you great tips of the area. We stayed in a room facing away from the freeway, and slept with the windows open, no disturbing noises.'

'This older place had great character. Native American oriented. The room was standard until you notice the full kitchen with fridge, freezer, microwave stove top and sink. There are even dishes, silver and pans in the cupboard. We weren't planning to cook, but if we were staying longer, we would have brought in things to prepare.
