'Home is great. A bit of a challenge to reach due to part of the Blue Ridge Parkway being closed due to Helene. Went with the notion of being a wedding anniversary and near a dark sky site. Excellent in terms of privacy and relative darkness. Spouse is 5'2" and had a lot of trouble entering and exiting the hot tub. The mini split ACs are very effective, although it was challenging to understand they all have to be set to AC or heat to work. I'm technically inclined, so this did not pose an issue...

'We primarily rented this place to have a place to sleep after a trip to Grandfather Maountain, but it was so much more than that. The fireplace was great and easy to operate, the home was cozy and inviting, very clean with simple and easy checkout instructions. Loved the Keurig machine and coffee selection, and the TV was easy to operate. Enjoyed popcorn and a movie before bed. Would definitely stay here again. One note - the room with the pullout sofa is cold if you dont have one of the...
