'This unit was NOT a quiet getaway. The exterior environment was great. People seemed nice and quiet. However, the unit’s windows are right on the street, so you constantly hear cars and motorcycles zooming down the street. This street noise is only drowned out when you turn on the heat, which sounds like an airplane taking off inside the apartment. If you turn off the heat the apartment temp dips to 67 degrees. I chose not to stay at the property due to concerns over safety and cleanliness and the "owner" Jasmine only refunded a portion of the rental fee. 'When we arrived,Renee was cleaning and she showed me around. Initially I was thrilled with The Parlor. When she left, she said that she was coming back with paper towels and a trash bag. She did not do this until two days later. We went to the grocery store, and set our groceries on the counter. As I’m putting things away, all of our groceries are covered with something sticky. 'The 1 bdrm house was perfect, there was so much that reminded me of my childhood home. It was very welcoming and comforting. I absolutely loved how wine bottles were displayed and noted that they were available for consumption.The backyard set up was simply adorable but due to the weather i didn't really get to enjoy it.
