I would not recommend this hotel. The room was extremely small, with dirty curtains and a mattress where you could feel every spring—definitely not comfortable. There was no storage space for clothes, and the shower was dirty as well. The tap in the shower barely worked: either scalding hot or freezing cold, with no in-between and very poor water pressure.
Another major inconvenience was that you can’t leave your luggage at the hotel if you arrive before check-in or need to check out early. When I asked the man at the reception if I could leave my suitcase for a while, I was met with a dumbfounded look and the response: “Does it look like I have space for that?”—instead of simply and politely saying there was no room available. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming.
The walls are paper-thin—you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms, which makes it very hard to get a good night’s sleep. The floor in our room was uneven to the point where you could literally trip getting out of bed.
Although breakfast was supposedly included, no explanation was given about where or when it was served. There was also mention of a hairdryer being available, but I certainly didn’t see one in the room.
On top of all that, the photos of the rooms online are very misleading—they do not reflect the reality at all. In my opinion, the value for money was extremely poor. I paid far too much for what this place is actually worth.
Only positive thing: located close to King’s Cross & Metro.
