'We stayed for 4 nights and were there to go shelling on Sanibel Island. The location to Lighthouse Beach was amazing. It was easy to get all around the Islands. The king bed was comfortable while the day bed is a fold away-a little insecure for an adult. We put a suitcase under it for support to make sure we didn't break it. We will return to Parrot Cottages!'

'This property is immaculate. The manager and owner have a great location within 5 min of almost everything! We went bike riding, childrens museum, boating and a trek to zoo miami. This was a great trip.'

'I usually stay beachfront, but I will now stay here with my family!! Everything is brand new. Some units connect via the laundry center, so family can walk between each unit without going outside! Love the decor! Kids loved the bikes & rode all over. Even though you have to walk a bit to the beach it’s not that bad & they had backpack chairs. I could go on & on, but FABULOUS!!'

'The cottage was quite unique being located directly behind the owners residence in a neighborhood. The unit was perfect for my wife and I during our 2 night stay. It was clean and well appointed with everything you would need for your stay. The decor was beachy and appeared to be professionally done. The grounds outside the cottage was very nice with multiple sitting area’s to enjoy cocktails or coffee. 'I wanted to get as close as I could to Bowman’s Beach and Blind Pass to go shell collecting. For the price this was a gem. I was able to do my daily walks at 5am collecting shells and be back for breakfast/brunch with my husband. Couldn’t walk on the beach to Blind Pass, have to walk on bike trail. So if you’re interested in shell collecting this spot was very good. You get a beach pass to park at the Trade Winds parking lot which was empty most of the time. 'While many homes in this neighborhood are still struggling to recover from hurricane Ian, this cozy litte place is primed for the tourist season! Recently updated with very pretty, Florida decor, and sitting right on the canal for easy access to the gulf, our time spent here was relaxing and pleasant indeed. '1st time staying in any tiny home. This was cute!! It was just me. I did spend most time away, but i arrived late at night and the community is well lit, and i felt safe. Everyone that walked around was friendly and waved. The only negative i would give is there is no mirror. Sounds silly, but me being a girl, doing my hair or make up i used my phone camera lol.
