'Great location for a visit to Lassen Park. Lovely view of the woods and stars and conveniently located off the main highway and within easy driving distance to Chester for groceries and restaurants. We loved the covered porch and grill and the adorable birds nests. The baby birds were super cute.'

'My family and I had a wonderful stay here. Christine was very accommodating. The place was clean, cozy and comfortable. The local grocery store is 5 minutes away and all the great parks, Shasta, Lassen etc are within an hour drive. We had a wonderful stay here. '

'Check in was simple. We loved that the kitchen cabinets and drawers were labeled making it easy to find kitchen items. Had a group of deer come through the yard with two fawns. Was nice to watch them. '

'This cabin is so charming. So many cozy spaces. Warm afternoons spent down by the creek and up at the lake were the highlight of our trip.'

'My friend and I each had our own room at the B and B while our group of 10+ friends camped at Manzanita Lake. It worked out great. Our hosts were attentive and experienced and helpful and fun to stay with. Would definitely go back!'

An additional perk was that we got to see a deer and her fawns close up on the property a couple of times. Would definitely recommend!'

'The house had a nice kitchen and living space and the bedrooms were big. The problem was there was no A/C. They did have a swamp cooler which worked nicely in the downstairs but the upstairs bedrooms were hot and stuffy even with windows open and fans blowing. The master bathroom had a window pointing directly at the neighbors house and the window was not adequately covered so we never used the shower and bathtub in that room..'
