'The location is awesome. Shepler’s ferry and downtown Mackinaw are less than a mile walk from the hotel, and it’s an easy walk. The state park lake shore and fort are a five minute walk. The hotel is clean, breakfast was awesome (eggs, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and other items). Our room was a king with couch, very spacious. 'Loved all the staff we met from front desk to cleaning staff. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served on the third floor and you can't take food back to your room but it is a very large dining room that accomodates many. Room was very comfortable. Lots of dead bugs on the balcony but I suppose that's normal. Absolutely loved the view of the beach!'

'This place was amazing! The only little issue I had was with the toilets flushing a little slowly, but it wasn't too much of a problem and when it did stop up, staff was quick to help out. The room was clean, staff was helpful, and the pool and breakfast was pretty good. Overall, I'd say this place was great and I hope I'm able to come back again someday. '
