'We loved everything about our stay. This home has so much character. There was plenty of room for our family. It was nice to sit on the front porch and relax and watch for wildlife in the field across the street. Loved it!'

This place was super close to town and there was a ton of fun things to do from driving around to see the lights to eating at the local restaurants. Will absolutely be coming back and staying here!'

'We stayed in B-4. Living room was very roomy, comfortable which made it easy to relax. Large couch and TV. Kitchen was a nice size and amenities were plentiful. It was quiet and peaceful. Bedroom was large with a king size bed and LOTS of closet space. Bathroom well lit and plenty of towels, etc. We would highly recommend it to all our friends and family '

'Our stay at the Farmhouse in New Era was wonderful. It was charming, orderly, and peaceful, located in the perfect setting. We were blessed with many special and memorable moments during our week here! Our family enjoyed getting up early to see the sunrise lighting up cloud-like waves of Spring blossoms in the cherry orchards. It was otherworldly in description! In addition, it provided a beautiful setting for our daughter's bridal shower, wedding photos, and served as our home base for her...

'We absolutely loved staying here for the weekend. It was a quick drive to Suttons Bay, but so nice to be a little bit away from town. The grounds are beautiful with all the grape vines & we enjoyed seeing the cows each morning. The home itself was perfect, every room had its own style to it and was extremely clean. We had so much fun! If I got the opportunity to come here again I would absolutely stay here. '

'Had 8 of us stay for a high school fishing tournament on the St. Mary's River. Great place to crash at night after long days of fishing. Ken was by far the most responsive and helpful host we've rented from on VRBO. Will stay again if available next season!'

'The property was clean with lovely views of vineyards and fields; beds were comfortable and kitchen was well provisioned with tools needed for cooking. The wrap around deck was lovely, and would have been a great place to veg, had it not been a chilly wet weekend! We highly recommend.'

'3 families occupied the space. Our kids were in a competition in Battle Creek over the weekend. The kids loved running and playing on the property including using the bikes that are in the garage. The town of Portage is not far and has all you need for groceries, etc. The property is quiet, with hardly any trafic. I really appreciate the owners communication. Being able to reach out to him personally gave us peace of mind. '

'This home provided ample space for large family accommodations with the four Queen bedrooms and large gathering areas.The hot tub and fire pit was a hit for the adults and the small children loved the outdoors for exploring and running. Note that the home, at this point, is not conducive to anyone with mobility issues. The home is well stocked and clean'
