'Unit was basically clean; maybe wouldn't have passed a white glove test in some areas but it is after all in a grove of trees. The description of "15 yds from lake" is probably correct BUT lake was nowhere to be seen from the unit, disappointing. Many lovely lakes are not far, however, and my son took me to them. 'We so enjoyed our stay. The host, Lynn, was so nice and friendly and so easy to communicate with and work with. She has thought of everything anyone could possilbly need and we really appreciated her generosity! The apartment is very welcoming and the patio area next to the creek was just divine! We enjoyed eating out there and relaxing after a long day. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area!'

'This property was perfect for our quick weekend visit to the Hiawassee area. It fit my husband and I and our two teenage kids perfectly, and the owner was easy to communicate with. The location was ideal with a local coffee shop across the street, a local cafe/bar and ice cream shop in the same plaza, and a brewery with amazing views just up the road. Access to local trails and adventures was also key. Would def recommend this property.'

'The accommodations were wonderful. The view from the sitting deck was amazing. They have a lot of nice touches that a lot of places don’t have all the way down to having a full set of spices K cup coffee a nice basket of fruit and munchies. The only negative is we wish we had more time to stay.'

'Property was mostly as described. This is a small, hunting cabin-like property with the basic amenities. The bed was comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. Wifi wasn’t working for my stay and my phone (Verizon) had zero service. Closest place with service was about 6 miles up the road. Check in process was difficult as the key box wouldn’t work and I had no service to contact the property owner. Luckily the neighbor was there and let me use his phone (AT&T has service here).'

'This is a cute little cabin -- maybe 300 square feet total, on a little bluff right by the main house. The (really friendly) owner told me that the property was designed by a European couple. The Scandinavian influence is evident. I do wish the cabin had a separate vanity area -- the only sink is the one in the kitchenette. I also could have done w/ some blinds on the house side at least, but I do appreciate the aesthetic. I would definitely stay there again!'

'A wonderful cabin stocked with ametities and anything you'd need to make you feel like you're staying in a home in the mountains, not a churn and burn rental. It's comfortable, with beautiful views and wonderful accommodations. The hosts were attentive and responsive, and I definitely want to return to the cabin. Driveway is a pretty steep tight turn, but you get the hang of it :)'
