'The house was exactly as described, clean, and well stocked. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the wildlife in the lake. Excellent place to go to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. We enjoyed the many state parks that are about a 30 minute drive from the house.'

'It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well.'

'Lovely cottage besides a beautiful lake. Near some hiking and rock hounding if that's what you care about. Clean. Nicely equipped. Lots of wood for fires. Absolute gem. Many many thanks to the owners'

'Great rustic lodging. Helpful and friendly host. Beautiful area and close to many hiking trails in parks and preserves. Highly recommended if you want simple, rustic lodging with comfortable accommodations (nice bed, everything needed for a compact kitchen to prepare meals, and nice picnic table for eating outdoors). 'My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

'We loved this house and the location! We've stayed in a nearby house for many vacations through the years but needed something bigger, and this house was perfect for us. It's quirky and filled with art, and beautiful ocean views.The upstairs layout is a little funky (one bedroom is only accessible via adjoining rooms, and one large bedroom has the back staircase in it) but it was totally fine for us. Our kids loved the visiting chickens and walking to the beach each morning.'

'It is a lovely home very close to schoodic and not too far from the rest of Acadia - a bit over an hour and an eazy drive that. Most importantly everything was very clean and very comfortable. Check in was very simple and the host was great about communication. As a bonus we also had the best stargazing at night!!'

'Extraordinary views of beautiful and historic Moosebec Reach on coastal Downeast Maine as seen from a fully furnished Victorian setting. Convenient to everything the town has to offer from an abundance of lobster pounds, fresh harvested mussels to a general store and public library all within walking distance. A pleasant and affordable setting with an attentive host.'

'we had a great experience and the owners are kind and helpful. They prepared us for that place within an hour. It wasn't easy to reach that place (due to the gravel road). Other than that, the place is nice.'

'We had such a lovely time at this place. It’s right on the water with a beautiful back deck and fire pit that overlook the ocean. The house itself was perfect for our family gathering. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms were well-stocked with everything we needed. My only qualm is that we had stayed here because it was close to Bar Harbor - the listing said it was a 50min drive but was more like an hour 10min and there wasn’t much else to do in Milbridge. Still, would...
