'I would say this was as close to heaven on earth for my family as possible. There was warm weather, swimming, games, boating, and ANIMALS! We had , deer, fish, frogs, and a very friendly duck. 'We loved staying at this house! It was the best stocked house we have ever rented! We love to cook and we planned to bring most of our supplies with us from home because rental houses usually have just the minimum. This kitchen was equipped with spices, pots, pans, and more than enough supplies for a comfortable stay. Our kids loved walking down to the water and using the kayaks and water mat. 'Our family of 10 and our weenies rented this house for a week and we weren't disappointed! Plenty of space for us to hang together and get space away from each other. 'We have stayed everywhere in USA 5 star motels in Hawaii..etc..Canada...but for a quick getaway I decided to try something different...my 1st time VRBO or anything not motel...we were absolutely thrilled with this place. 'Phenomenal location; if you are looking for a remote, peaceful setting this is it. My husband and I, along with our dog took this trip after a very long, hard year of cancer treatments and it was so healing to just sit on the rockers on the porch, listening to the Chauga river. There was a sparrow who made a nest under the porch and we watched her hunt worms to feed her babies. Cabin has a rustic feel, exactly what we were looking for. Ver private. We went on several hikes at local waterfalls...
