'Great location with easy access to tourist attractions, and there were bus stops nearby as well. There were also plenty of shops and restaurants around. The staff were helpful and the place was kept clean. The pods themselves were clean, but they were very creaky. Every time I moved, they made quite a lot of noise, which made me worry about waking the person in the pod underneath me. The pods also aren’t soundproof, so you can hear other people in the room opening and closing lockers or moving...

'Outstanding location with easy access to La Gra Via, the Spainish Broadway, but with many local cafes, eateries, and restaurants with outdoor seating. It is a hostel and I had a bed in a 14 bed room with a shared bathroom that remained surprisingly clean the two days I stayed there. Staff is exellent and worked hard to accomodate (with many interruptions) guest requests. I reccomend doing pre-check in digital to avoid waiting in the long line when arriving.'

'We had a wonderful stay at Casa du Soleil! We booked the triple room, it was incredibly spacious, providing more than enough comfort. The staff were so kind, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We also found the common areas, especially the kitchen, to be so useful during our trip. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Madrid and would definitely love to go back again!'

'The room is extremely small and the bathroom is one square meter with out-dated showers. The reception is located behind a standing, very small desk in the hall-way. There are no services or breakfast options. When I arrived from the airport jn the hotel I asked to go to the toilet. The declined and first want to do all formalities. I almost pissed my pants'

'I had a wonderfull stay at Modular Rooms! This was my first time staying at a proper capsule hotel and would definitely do it again. Felt very safe because you need a personal pin code to open every door: front door, room, capsule, locker. The capsule was much bigger and comfier than I had expected, with different lights (main light, reading light, atmospheric light), several plugs (from a pop up power strip), air conditioning. The bed was already made, which is often not the case at a hostel....
