'My sister and I came to Barcelona via a cruise ship. The property manager met us and helped us with our embarrassing amount of luggage. We didn’t know there were 2 flights of stairs so he helped us bring our luggage into the apartment. The location was in the middle of everything in Barcelona!! Right next to the Gothic Quarter and the Marina. We got “lost” in the area and loved it!The apartment was incredible! Very beautiful with stone walls and the coolest windows and doors I have ever seen!!...

'The location has a market right across the street. Nice place, only emailed the owners general info and they responded in a short period of time. My family all liked the place. I don't know what the winery experience was but did not want to damage the score so I put 4 stars.'

'Firstly, Jonathan and Val are INCREDIBLE hosts--they are welcoming, communicative, and go above and beyond what's needed as a host! The flat itself is lovely and has everything you would need for a comfortable long-term stay.The location is great as you're very close to the metro and Sant Antoni. The neighborhood can be a little sketchy at night, but not enough to dissuade one from renting there (I would re-book in a heartbeat)--you just need to use your travel common sense. 'The first issue was that we arrived 30 minutes before 15h00 and we were not able to enter into the appartment which was "ready". The street noise (ambulances) and the neighbour's noise was the only issue. Otherwise, the place was GREAT!'
