'You have to go to a restaurant to check in and how are you supposed to know this. The ice machine was out of ice when we left. The room could have had a microwave. The room was nice size and very clean. Plenty of food options nearby. Good location. Parking is at the local city parking lot which is $20 a day or hourly if you go in and out. The ad said the parking was $15.'

'Friendly man or girl at the desk. Entrance via an Italian restaurant not belonging to the hotel. Busy terrace and you have to carry your suitcases yourself about 4 steps up through the tables and waiters. No help offered. Noisy street but quiet room. In my opinion everthing was paid in advance but still unexpectedly to pay $ 30 extra charges. For one night was paid € 395 plus $ 30 which is a bit to much but Miami is known for high prices for everything.'

'Really enjoyed our stay at the Pelican. It’s in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was lovely. Costs were slightly excessive - we didn’t get the room we had booked. The resort fee was a bit disappointing as it didn’t include an umbrella at the beach (just chairs). We were also charged $75 for a crib for our 2 year old…'

'The kitchenette was well equipped. Could have used some dish detergent and some more towels for hand washing dishes. Bed and pillows very comfortable. The sofa bed was uncomfortable. The temperature controls and cooling system worked very well and quietly. Check in and communicate very easy. The room needs more hooks and towel bars. No where to dry out wet bathing suits and beach towels. Room was larger than expected. WiFi excellent. '

'The hotel is very well located in South Beach. It's what i would call a boutique hotel. The rooms are nice and spacious but..... They are little outdated. If they could just upgrade a bit it would be fabulous. They have an pool on the upper deck. But when you order a wine they only will serve your bottle in plastic cups. So that didnt make it attracting to order a 120usd bottle of wine. The restaurant was nice and food was good. The staff was very friendly and service minded. So no complaints...

'We enjoyed our stay. Front desk, room service, bartenders were all very nice! I especially appreciated Lucy the concierge for all of her help planning my daughter’s 21st!! Melanie and Taska were very helpful and friendly too at the front desk helping us to extend our stay. Lots of younger kids and families.'

'Het personeel is vriendelijk en het hotel is schoon. De kussens van zijn helaas erg zacht. De vloer in de hotelkamer was beschadigd en de koelkast in de kamer maakt een hoop lawaai. Het rooftop zwembad is super. Ook de locatie van het hotel is top. '
