Wyndham Extra Holidays-accommodaties in Mid-City

'This boutique hotel is a former book bindery - late 1800s - 9 stories, but still intimate & personal. 5 Star staff, block & a half off Canal St., beautifully decorated on period style. Only negative is "spotty" wifi - I went days with no email. Early mornings signal is strong enough to sign onto, although youvwill likely lose it later in day. A real inconvenience for guests. Otherwise, Wyndham's La Belle Maison is my favorite place to stay in French Quarter.'

'I stayed for 3 nights at the Avenue Plaza resort. The hotel is convenient located at St. Charles Avenue. The St. Charles streetcar stops right in front of the hotel. The room was large and beautiful decorated. Everything was clean, although there was no daily cleaning. It was a bit difficult to sleep because the airconditioning was very noisy and couldn't be turned off.
