I personally did not find that as a problem, I slept right through it. But if you're not used to those kinds of noises it can be distracting. Once I got into the house to turn the outside lights on, we found that the front porch light was burnt out and the back porch lighting was very poor. 'The house was clean and neat, inside and outside. However, the photos and description did not accurately portray the neighborhood. We never felt unsafe or concerned, but the neighborhood was not as "nice" as implied. I would stay there again, but with different expectations. Things that would make this property and experience better: 1) Really need to repair/replace the exhaust fan in the hall bathroom. 'We stayed here because our son graduated from Boot Camp at Fort Jackson. The commute was quick and we were able to spend some time with him at the house and it was a fun place to just relax. The only downside was that there was only one shower. No biggie though. '
