'I was a little skeptical when I heard it was in the basement. And the houses behind it are slightly unkept. But the unit was super clean, the building was decent and all correspondence with the host was excellent.'

'Finding the key was a bit of a hassle much like a quest. The instructions included find the lock box above the one with love written on it, on a fence of lock boxes. The unit was nice and clean and as described. There was a basket of treats which nice. I would have liked more coffee pods there was only one for each day of our stay. The walk up the four flights of stairs with our luggage had us gasping for breath lol. the place was close to downtown only $20 Uber. Overall great little get away...

'Overall a very solid experience! The property genuinely looks better in person than in the pictures which says something. Street parking is generally available and in a safe neighborhood. Some communication delays at times, but received everything that I needed to for the check-in process. Only points of note were the WiFi/shower functionality, but these were more observations than concerns. Would highly recommend for someone looking to visit downtown without the $1k price tag of hotels.'

'The property listing is as it is advertised. It’s a unique property with an eclectic feel. The only issue was different expectations communicated between the owner and Expedia. They had two different check in times. Otherwise this was a good rental experience.'
