'The condition of the property was as described in the listing. Good location within walking distance of downtown. I would have rated it higher, but we could not get the electronic door lock to work from the outside. I contacted the management company for help, but they did not help. So, we packed everything back in our car when we left for dinner because we didn't want to leave it all in the unlocked room while we were gone. 'Cute little hotel in the middle of town. This is an old hotel that has been tastefully refreshed. Room was small but clean with a brand new bathroom. The bed was comfortable and I could park right outside my room. I received a code within two hours of my check-in and the lock system worked well. What could improve the hotel is a bolt lock or some kind of additional lock on the inside to help me feel more secure at night.'

'We often stay at Michillinda Lodge when we visit West Michigan. We stayed in Guest House #2. The views of Lake Michigan from the deck are amazing! The beds are comfy and there is a sofa bed and dining table in the living room. There are many outdoor games and and a nice clean outdoor pool. You don't even have to leave the resort, but West Michigan has so much to offer, I recommend exploring the area!
