'Great place to stay in! Located right on Cannery Row, was surrounded by lots of stuff to do and great places to eat at!'

'This hotel was fine, as I was not expecting much. They are re roofing (we were not aware of this prior to booking) and that’s all you see. The TV had terrible clarity. I didn’t even think they made TVs like that anymore. Clearly no HD channels. We had to ask for a blanket on the second night as the bedding is very light ( I prefer some heft). The location is great and the breakfast was plentiful and good. Despite all that is mentioned here, we will be going back in 2 months- due to the low cost...

'Schattig uitziend hotel met kleine maar net ingerichte kamer. Vlak bij het centrum van Carmel en op loopafstand van het strand. Mijn favoriete deel van het bezoek was na de zonsondergang op het strand te hebben gezien en de kinderen in bed gestopt, op te wamen bij het haardvuur in de binnentuin.'

'Tradewinds is a lovely dog-friendly hotel within perfect walking distance to busy, downtown Carmel. The staff are so kind, the facility is updated, with nicely appointed decor, clean, well-laid out rooms, and a delicious breakfast delivered by request! This is definitely a gem and we'll be back without a doubt, thank you!'

'Convenient. Nice clean airy rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would have liked a microwave in room as I like hot tea and Keurig doesn’t cut it - and I like a teabag. But the front desk staff gave me hot water which was good. Aquarium is a 10 minute drive or 45 minute walk. '

'The property was in a great location. The plants, flowers and overall garden areas were pretty. The rooms were clean and well maintained. My only complaint is small - I asked for a wake-up call and I didn’t receive one.'
