'Negatives: The checkin information came the day of the stay and the check out information the day before; no welcome manual with how to use heat, whether there was AC, etc; microwave did not work and the door to the porch was broken; bedrooms were extremely small, barely enough room to walk around them; the layout of the place is awkward; no counter space to cook and no oven to cook in; the refrigerator was across the room; no containers for food prepared; no scissors; no beach blanket or...

'Highly recommend this property. Is ideal for a couple or a couple with 1-2 young children. Walking distance to old town Half Moon Bay. There is a nice market very close by and gas station. Many restaurants to choose from. Property is across the street from a school/church. Nice and quiet area. Can't wait to come back. We are repeat customers of this property. There is a hot tub, but was not working properly. Love, love this property.'

'There was a power outage but wasn’t made aware until the day of check-in, Xmas day with family hosting dinner. More importantly was not informed that the water was also powered by electricity, thus we weren’t able to flush toilets or hands…a big health/safety issue. And, the host did provide a generator, lanterns. We were unable to cook dinner & had to order for delivery. The host did not reimburse any funds for the power being out for most of the evening. 'Pros: great location especially if you are catching a flight from SFO. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen had everything we needed.Cons: the check in process was not good. The instructions were not clear. We had trouble getting in. Thankfully, the property manager was in the unit and let us in. Communication with the host was challenging. We didn't get responses promptly. Make sure to bring ear plugs as it gets noisy at night with the aircrafts coming in and out of SFO.Suggestions:...

'I received this survey even though I had received a cancellation by the host of the VRBO. We did not stay at this location it was “cancelled” due to overbooking. This pit us in a very inconvenient position requiring us to spend an hour on the phone with VRBO trying to find a replacement for our family of 4 as we were traveling from out of state.'
